Confused about the 4/3 deal

I just booked for a week in late April/early May. I've been looking at this for a while and I swear it originally included 7 days hopper and water park passes. Did I totally imagine that? I booked today and my thing says 7 days base ticket. So I'm confused!

You can have whatever ticket you want--one-day base ticket to a 10 day PH with WPF&M with NE. Just call and have your ticket adjusted to what you want (max. three days free with with purchase of 4).

Next time, if you book online, click on the ticket bar/header and it will open up. You can adjust your tickets there.

I tried to opt for a Park Hopper addition to the base ticket for the 4/3 deal online and couldn't find an option to add it anywhere. The 'button' next to the ticket part of the page that next to other options (like room, disney dining, etc.) let you change the details of that part of the vacation package was greyed out. So I think the only way to get the PH is to talk with someone over the phone.

you will pay an upcharge to turn it into park hopper, or park hopper plus water or any other option.

I wonder if that was just a temporary glitch. I just went on and I had no problems. You do have to click on the actual words "Park Tickets and Options". There is no longer a little button to the side since the re-did the website.

Whatever options you choose, you pay for, minus the three free days. PH and WPF&M are a flat $50 each from 1-10 days, so no discount under the 4/3 deal. However, NE costs varies by how many days are on the ticket, so you do get a deal on that.

Careful - the 'free' portion of the deal is only for room and tickets. Add-on options (hopper/water) are a fixed rate. NoExp is adjusted though.

But the MOST important thing is that Dining is NOT FREE. That is, on a 7 night stay, you'll pay for the 7 nights for meals...

I'm wondering if either is really worth it for us. We are going to be there seven days and will have three kids with us. I've had a hopper before and while that's a nice option, I don't plan on us going at a crazy pace like we did when we didn't have kids. We can still come and go from the same park in the same day, so we could do MK in the morning, come home for a rest/swim, and go back for the evening. I know my 7yo would love the water park, but I wonder how much we'll go. We are staying at Fort Wilderness and it seems like there's a lot going on there that might be nice to enjoy in what little "down time" we'll have.

Question, if you are staying at one resort, can you go to the pools at another? Like from one moderate to another?
