Confused about onboard booking discount....

Can you transfer a DCL onboard booking discount to an existing booking?

My situation is I currently have a cruise booked for Jan 2011 (Dream) & another one for Aug 2011 (Alaska). My onboard booking discount from last September is currently applied to the latter (Alaskan) cruise, I am wondering if it is possible to move it to the Dream cruise & then when I am onboard in January is there a way to get another onboard booking discount so I can add that to my Alaskan cruise?

Does that even make sense?

I would e-mail or give them a call or maybe post your query on the cruise forums as there are probably more people on there doing 2 cruises.
