Confused about MNSSHP

Hi,

I'm tring to plan our trip to WDW and it is looking like October may work best for us. Now I see there is a MSSHP, which I have never heard of. I've read some info on this but am still confused..... I see that MK closes at 9p.m. , so when does the MNSSHP actually start? We were planning on a 4 day hopper pass and spending 5 nights. Is it a waste of time to go to a park on the MNSSHP day?

I don't know about other nights in October but on MNSSHP nights, MK closes at 6:00p and re-opens for the party at 7:00p and the part runs from 7:00p to Midnight.

On MNSSHP days, MK closes at 6pm for all guests who do not have an MNSSHP wrist band.

MNSSHP officially starts at 7pm. But, if you have a wristband, you can get into MK as early as 4pm. The lines are pretty short at most attractions between 5pm and 6pm as regular guests leave the park, and between 6pm and 7pm when everyone with an MNSSHP wristband is directed to Tomorrowland while the rest of MK is set up for the party.

In the past, we've attended MNSSHP on a day when we weren't using our PH passes and we've done almost the equivalent of a full day at MK at the party, which lasts until midnight, and the couple hours prior to the party.

when we went to the halloween party our kids were about 3 and 4 so we used that day for a pool day at the hotel and then made the kids nap around 3:00 - then when they woke up we had a quick dinner - got into costumes and headed to the partk - this worked great cause they had the energy to last til midnight.

the lines were very small at all the big attractions which was great because then when we went back on a park day we didn't waste all that time in line for the big attractions.

i wish we were doing that again - its a great night - trick or treating around the park - it doesn't get much better than that for the kids

Were doing the same sort of thing

Having a morning in the pool then going to Race Rock on I-Drive for a late lunch the girls will then go and get dressed up back at the hotel,then we shall head over to MK for 4pm.

Were going on the 31ST we are so excited
