First, let me say this will be a value resort. Next, I won't count the new resort popping up soon; because, their rooms may all be set up differently.

Anyway, if you need a roll in shower, handicap room that only has a king bed to sleep two, what happens when you have three in your party?

I have heard different versions, here. I've heard you get a roll-a-way bed and then I also heard you get an extra, adjoining room. If both can happen what dictates one over the other?

Rollaway cot? Always yes.

Adjoining room? Yes if such a suite is available and you want the extra space, second bathroom, etc.

depends on the resort and who is working on your ressie in special services. But you will be taken care of, we always have.

::yes::
And, also availability. If the last connecting room is already spoken for, a roll away would be the available option.

of a roll a way bed if you book late and vice versa if you book early chances are you are going to get an adjoining room?

Not necessarily because things can change at the last minute. You may be assigned to get a connecting room and something happens at the last minute - like a pipe break or a rug that needs cleaning because of an accident.

(Adjoining just means they are next to each other in 'hotel talk' - connecting rooms are always adjoining, but not all adjoining rooms are connecting rooms.)

Not always. I was once told there are none at POP. :confused3
Plus it would be very tight if not imposable at POP with a roll away.
If a room can fit two double beds then it should be able to fit a king and a cot.

If you booked for three they should be able to get you two beds, including moving you to another resort for that.

I have a friend who books for three adults and has booked at all the value resorts. She usually receives a rollaway bed for the third guest and rarely the second option. This is acceptable and allowed as each guest has bedding. If you want a second room guaranteed, then you would need to pay for it. There are usually only two of us but for some who travel with a caregiver, a rollaway is preferred over sharing a bed and has always been provided.---Kathy

The rooms with double beds have smaller bathrooms and are not the same size at the room with a king bed. The bathroom in the king rooms take about 3 feet of space out of the bed area so a cot will be really tight sometimes.

They can and will remove the table and chairs if you ask. Also with the new renovations the accessible rooms have a higher, smaller square table with room to roll a w/c underneath so it now takes up less space, leaving more in the room. We were at Pop in early December and there was plenty of room for a rollaway. I had plenty of room to maneuver in my w/c.---Kathy
