Confused about Dining Plan - Pay per night?

I just read that you pay for the dining plan per night of stay? I'm staying 2 nights and will obviously be at WDW for 3 days. How does that work? Was I misinformed? Please explain, thanks!!!

It is per night. You can spread the entitlements through your three days any way you wish.

It is per night so if you are staying 2 nights then you would have 2 credits to use for ts, cs and snacks.

The plan is in effect from your check-in date and ends at the end of your day of checkout.

Yours may be an unusual circumstance. Some people leave early on their last day and don't go into the parks. We usually arrive late on our fist day and just do DTD and leave early on the last day with breakfast at CM..

Hopefully this makes sense...

We are staying 4 days 3 nights. So we have 3 snack 3 CS and 3 TS for our stay.

We are arriving around 5 on friday so will use 1 TS that night.

For the next 2 day we will use a total of 2 snack 2 CS and 2 TS.

On Monday, our last day, we will be leaving around 1 so we will use our last snack and last CS.

Just to note: We are camping so will be making breakfast every morning. So we are using all our TS for dinners.
