My head is spinning with all these abbreviations and acronyms, so I apologize if I use any incorrectly! ;)
What is the difference between Early Entry and Mickey's Morning Madness? Are they the same thing? Is Morning Madness before park opening too?
I've heard people saying that they got more than one EE during their stay - can you buy additional EE's or what? My kids are up at the crack of dawn (early to bed, early to rise family), so EE's will be fabulous for us, and the more we can get, the better! Any tips?

Thx
Carmen

- EE is available EACH day it's offered for guests of the 3 DLR hotels (including the day of check in & the day of check out.)
- EE is availble to folks who buy 3 day or more Park Hoppers (but only for ONE EE day).
- EE (for 2008) is Sun / Tues / Thurs / Sat. (if i'm wrong someone please correct me).

(So if you stayed at the DLH on a Sat/Sun/Mon - you could do EE on Sat, Sun & Tues - theoretically. If you stayed at the Fairfield across the street those nights & bought a 4 day hopper, you'd only get one day EE & would have to choose.)

Carmen, where are you staying & what are the days of week?

EE rocks....especially with little ones "who get up early". :dance3:

TTMM is a different offering, not related to EE. (but may fall on an EE day). I'll let others comment, as I'm not familiar with it.

Adding on: EE is Early Entry, and means that those eligible get in one hour before DL opens to the public. When you're there are peak season that can mean 7am EE, and you might need to be in line up to an hour before that (so you are among the first in to the park and into the lines for things like Peter Pan!). But if you're there on a weekday during the slower seasons, that can mean 9am when DL opens at 10am. :)

If you buy a package or hoppers-only through getawaytoday.com, you get two EEs with those park hoppers.

Mickey's ToonTown Morning Madness is officially only open to those who book packages through WDTC, or the companies that go through them. So, Costco, AAA, and so on. If you book a package through those you get vouchers for each over-3-year-old member of the group (if you don't need a ticket to get into DLR you don't need a voucher to get into MTTMM). There are 4 days a week that MTTMM is held, and it means that ToonTown opens an hour earlier than normal. THAT means it opens at the same time Disneyland itself opens, though they do allow people time to get all the way out to TT before they start their festivities! There's a little parade of TT characters, you gather 'round their little stage area (in their food court, basically), the vice-mayor makes a speech and introduces the Mayor, Mickey. And beyond that it's just getting to be in TT earlier than most people, which lets you meet the characters with possibly shorter lines.

There are always poeple who don't use their vouchers and who sell them on ebay, or there's a free offering of the vouchers in another (obviously-named) thread here on the Disneyland forum.

Is getaway & the other TA still offering TWO EE days on the multi-day (3+ days) park hopper ticket???

I thought it was thru the end of the year. Bumbershoot, do you know how long that "deal" is being offered thru Getaway?

Thanks.

Getaway still does list:

TWO EARLY ENTRIES to a designated park inside the Disneyland® Resort with each 3-Day or longer Park Hopper® Bonus Ticket.

on their site, so I assume they mean it. Elsewhere on that page they mention dates in April, so I assume they've updated the whole page!

Hound - sorry - not really sure! Still looking for cheapest packages! Guess it's probably too early to be asking all these questions - just trying to decide if it might be worth it to book through a carrier who offers 2 EE's, as Bumbershoot mentioned....

Thanks for the clarification, though!

Never too early to ask. :thumbsup2

If looking for the cheapest & best, go with the Harbor Motels near the crosswalk & GO WITH THE PACKAGES THAT GET YOU TWO EE DAYS. (assuming your kids get up early & you want to enjoy fantasyland & other kid type things with little little lines & crowds).

Everyone speaks highly of Getaway & two days EE is better than one day.

Anyone know if Getaway is only for US residents? I tried to register there as a new member, but it wants a zip code, not a postal code (as us Canucks have!), and it won't let me choose a province, only a state.
