Confused about DDP and magic your way w/free dinning

Ok so if you look at the magic your way package with /dinning plan ( read free ) it doesnt list an appetizer as included . However , in that section it also has the link to the "disney dinning plan" which does include an appetizer with table service . Which one is correct? Trying to decide if its worth it to upgrade to the deluxe plan ( if thats even possible)

With the regular dining plan, the appetizer is not included with the adult meal, only with the kids meal. With the deluxe dining, then you get an appetizer.

As the pp said, there is no appetizer with the basic DDP, but there is one included with the deluxe DDP . We tried the DlxDDP for the first time this past December and we loved it . You shouldn't have any trouble upgrading to the DlxDDP from free (basic) DDP.....you would just have to pay the difference between the basic DDP cost and the DlxDDP cost......but I believe that would have to be done at least 3 days prior to your arrival .
