Confused about Character Breakfast Pricing

Ok I know this has probably been answered a lot but I just can't seem to find the information. I purchased a voucher for the STC breakfast at GAT for $32 but I see online that the cost if you were to pay there at the restaurant is $23.99. How much tax and gratuity are added to that? Seems like the $32 might not be any kind of deal.

I think it depends on when and where you go. Disneyland has on-peak and off-peak pricing for character meals. Also, character meals vary in price. Ariel's and Goofy's are considered premium dining and cost more than the others, while Minnie's is cheaper (and doesn't have gratuity since it is a serve-yourself buffet). I noticed that Ariel's also charges more if you want to sit inside as opposed to outside. Since the prices vary, I think the only way to know for sure how much it costs on a particular date is to call and ask.

I think that regardless of the date, the GAT vouchers are not a good deal for Minnie's breakfast, and probably not for Storyteller's either. Those are two of the cheapest character breakfasts.

It looks like GAT is charging a built in convinience fee. Tax is 8.75% and the tip is an autogratuity of 15%.

I could be close though as the PP noted if you go during peak season and get charged a higher price.

Be sure to call DL in advance of your visit to make reservations and to confirm which characters will be there when you are. You may need to adjust your eating time to be there when the characters are there.
