Hi! What kind of view do you get with concierge at the BWI? Is there a chance we would be looking at a parking lot?? We would like to try it, but would love to see the boardwalk/lake area from our room..should I just book a water view instead, and skip concierge?

You will not get a parking lot view if you book regular concierge (but you won't get a view of the lake either).

If you want a lagoon view, you will need to book concierge with a lagoon view.

We had a standard view room, which afforded us a view of the higher fireworks from Illuminations.
Cheers!

We were given a free upgrade to Concierge in January and our room had a view (kind of from the side) of the lake and the Boardwalk. We were at the end near ESPN Zone. We could see the high fireworks from Illuminations from our balcony.

It was a great upgrade :thumbsup2

KerryCM is the expert on BWI concierge if you want to PM her. I'm pretty sure that if you book deluxe concierge and request the 4th floor, that will get you the Boardwalk view. To see the higher fireworks from Illuminations, you can book a regular concierge room and request garden view. She'd know for sure.

Tammi is right, a deluxe concierge room will give you a BW view. You could also just book a water view room. The lounge is on the 4th floor. There are some rooms on the 3rd floor though. I have had both a BW view and garden view room and they have both been wonderful. It all depends on what you want to pay!! The standard rooms face the back of the resort which is the quiet pool area. You are able to see the higher fireworks from Illuminations, but you can go out onto the lounge's balcony to view them also.
It is my favorite resort and the cast there is wonderful. I will be back in December for my second time this year!

We stayed in room 3227 it was a deluxe concierge room...in the center right above the Boardwalk Bakery...it was an awesome location! :cloud9:

It was my understanding that there is no water view concierge category for the BWI, just concierge or deluxe concierge (deluxe being larger rooms).

This was our view from a regular concierge room this past May...

Yes - we just got back from room 3229 and we were right above the "-KERY" of Boardwalk Bakery.

Great view of the lake. Also, we could just sit on our balcony and watch the magician or the juggler - whoever happened to be performing that evening. And the dleuxe concierge room size was perfect for us.
