Confused about AP and MDE

we will be at WDW Aug 5- 19 staying offsite. We bought 3 10'day park hoppers with water parks, and 1 AP for my DH for parking and discounts. He doesn't go to water parks.

I have us all successfully linked under my MDE account and am booking fps successfully. We will activate his pass on August 5.

In order to set up photopass it says that he needs to crest his Disney account. Can someone point me to hoe to do that without losing his current set up in. Y MDE? I don't want to dive in till I understand. All new since our 20-3 visit. Thank you!

If his AP is setup in MDE, he has an account, shouldn't need to do anything.
