Confused about AP and codes

So we are going back to POP at the end of Oct/Nov. We have AP this year and I'm curious what I need to do about a code. Do I join the Oct 2007 code watch thread or is it completely different b/c it is an AP code. And if so, when do they come out?

It seems like they have been releasing codes for Disney VISA card holders first, then AP and Florida Resident codes, then general public codes. Sometimes it's within a day of each other, sometimes a week or more. Just keep an eye on the DIS, because any time a new code or discount comes out, it's big news that everyone will be talking about. You can also monitor Disney's passholder section online. You'll find out there about all the other AP benefits as well, for shopping, dining, etc. But I've found that people on the DIS usually have a heads up on these things before they hit the Internet anywhere else.

I so wish I would have been checking here more regularly. I did call and was told that we wouldn't have received the discount anyway, but still!!
