Confused about Alamo Pre-Pay

OK, I have my reservation with Alamo. I booked with a Visa discount, but haven't yet paid for the car. I would like to pay before we get down there.
How do I do this? I called Alamo this morning, and the person I spoke to wasn't much help.

You have to use PREPAY as the contract code in your reservation.
I tried PREPAY and it made my existing rate go up, so I just left the AARP or Walmart contract code, and will pay when I pick up the car. Both AARP and WALMART give second driver free.
