Confused about 08 DP & Chefs de France

Ok, I am confused. I pulled up the 08 DP brochure and Chefs was still not on it, so I decided to call and cancel my ADR and add Rose & Crown. The lady I spoke to said that Chefs was on the 08 plan for 1 table service. I said "for 08?" and she said yes. Should I call back and see if another person tells me the same thing? I wish I knew for sure.

In 2007, the final DDP list was not complete until November (bicker checked ). Assume the same for this year. Many of the restaurants in the World Showcase are not Disney run restaurants and there appears to be a different contracting practice. I would keep your ADR and check again next month

This happened to us while planning our last trip. Several of the places we wanted to dine at were not listed online as participating in the DP. When I called, the CM assured me that those places were, indeed, participating in the DP. I was "skeptical" so I called back-several times. Got the same answer each time and all turned out fine. Don't even get me started about trying to plan an entire trip while waiting...and waiting...and waiting some more...for the SWW dates to be announced...heehee...

This is at least the third experience someone has reported about Disney dining assuring that a restaurant that isn't on the original 2008 brochure will be on the plan. I was assured that Tutto Italia will be on the plan, when I called to make an ADR there based on the early reiews here on the DIS, and today when I called to get my P&PP tickets and make my dinner ADR for that night, I started talking to the CM about the new Japanese restaurants and was told they will be on the plan next year too (just what I needed - a reason to change ADRs for the 300th time! LOL). My theory is that as each restaurant signs on, that information is added to the computer system, but that Disney won't revise the brochure until all negotiations with all restaurants are complete.
