Seems to be some inconsistent info floating around about some of the menu changes so would like to hear from someone who has been there very recently.

Two questions:
I thought the lettuce wraps were an addition to the menu - not a replacement for the salad. Do you still get the salad, its just different from the old salad?

Am I correct that the only skewers now are Steak, Pork and Shrimp?

Thanks for the clarifications!

No Salad, it has been replaced by the lettuce wraps. The wraps were no where near as good as the salad used to be.

Correct, there were no chicken skewers.
As of tonight 'Ohana has drifted from being a family favorite. The steak was very inconsistent. Some was cooked nicely and served hot, others cold and wayyyyy overcooked. The pork had the same problem. The shrimp was actually ok. The Honey coriander wings were lacking in flavor and texture. The lo-mein was just ok, but we ordered more (mostly for our daughter) this second batch was much better. I will say that I felt like they couldn't take the time to do things correctly, they just had too many parties to serve and too little time to do it in.

We were just there last Monday (6/23) and had salad AND lettuce wraps. Both were delicious! We thought it was one of our best Ohana trips yet (this was our 5th visit).

It seems that in the course of a week they got rid of the salad. I overheard another diner speaking with the manager about the loss of the chicken and the salad. Unfortunately I couldn't hear the manager's response, but it seemed as though they are going through a lot of changes. We will just have to see how everything shakes out.

That's a shame they got rid of the salad, we really liked it.

When we were there in May, they had just introduced the lettuce wraps. At that time they were still serving the salad as well.

We found it to be way too many appetizers, and too many veggies, with the steamed veggies.

We wish they would have kept the salad. We did not give good reviews at all when they asked us about the wraps. The filling was ok, but the presentation was awful. They dumped all of the filling on top of a stack of lettuce, making it soggy. If you wanted to take a piece of the lettuce to make a roll, you had to dump the filling all over the plate. Not very well thought out. We didn't eat much of it, other than picking at a bit of the filling.

We had that same experience tonight.

That's a shame. We were there in May when they served both the wraps and the salad. Personally I didn't care for the wraps. Like pp we found them messy. i also found them incredibly spicy. Also DH cannot eat onions and we were told the filling was premixed and we couldn't get them custom. :(

So...don't expect the current WDW website menu (as of right now) to be honest? I'm disappointed about a loss of salad to be replaced by lettuce wraps. I was so excited to get a 5:10 Sat. night ADR for our Sept trip, but if the menu keeps changing...I just want to know what to expect!

Should I call the restaurant directly, if possible? I'm not one to throw a fit while on vacation. Stress is for work. Besides, berating a manager is pitiful. I know, as it was my job for over a decade. They just have to smile, as they do NOT own the place folks, nor are they in charge of large business decisions.

This is a mess. I chose 'Ohana as one of our ADRs because the menu looked so good, and everyone I know has loved it. The problem is, the only thing I could eat on the menu is the grilled chicken . . . and vegetables, but not what comes in the lettuce wrap. Can't have the wings or anything else on the menu.

My husband really wants to go and take his parents because they love Hawaii and that type of food.

??!!?? What is left on the menu that is not seafood and does not have a sauce on it? I had Cape May as our original ADR and maybe we should go back to that.
