Conflicting free dining info. please clarify...

This site lists dates as free dining. However, I pulled this from another disney site:

"Offer valid for arrivals most nights Aug. 19, 2011 - Sept. 29, 2011. Ask for other great rates for arrivals most nights Oct. 1-7, Oct. 22-28, Nov. 12-18, Nov. 27 – Dec. 2 and Dec. 10-21, 2010, and Jan. 1-5, Jan. 9-13, Jan. 21 – Feb. 3, Feb. 11-17, Feb. 25 – March 3 and May 27 –June 2, 2011 "

This makes it sounds like those are the nights excluded from free dining, but those are the dates that other sites list as free dining.

So are these the free dining dates, or is it everything other than these dates?? Trying to plan my trip for next year....

You can get FREE dining when you book a full price 3-night or longer 2010 or 2011 Magic Your Way vacation package for stays most nights 10/1/10 - 10/7/10, 10/22/10 - 10/28/10, 11/12/10 - 11/18/10, 11/27/10 -12/2/10, 12/10/10 - 12/21/10, 1/1/11 - 1/5/11, 1/9/11 - 1/13/11, 1/21/11 - 2/3/11, 2/11/11 - 2/17/11, 2/25/11 - 3/3/11, 5/27/11 - 6/2/11 and 8/19/11 - 9/29/11.

I just skimmed, but they seem to match what you posted. So I think the blurb "ask about other" just means that there are other deals in addition to free dining.

And there are other deals available in and around the same dates - room discounts into December 2010 and AP holder discounts up to Christmas.

Yes, those are the dates you can book FD. if your stay BEGINS on any of the dates listed you can get FD for your entire trip, up to 14 nights. If your arrival falls in between those dates, you are blacked out of FD. We are arriving one day too late to get the FD deal over thanksgiving (Nov 19th arrival) but got a pin code that allowed us to book FD over some of the blackout period so we got it that way.

Ok, thanks! I guess I need to look somewhere else for deals in the middle of May then.
