Confirming Reservations

I posted this same message on the Rent/Trade Board but thought maybe it might be better here.

Is it possible to confirm a reservation through DVC with just a reservation number and not a membership number? In other words if I call the DVC number and give them a reservation number will they confirm the resort and dates?

They will ask for a member number before anything else. Ask the person you rented from for a copy or original of the confirmation they are sent.

MS has been known to confirm the reservation if you ask. Just call and ask, all they can do is say yes or no. If you get no, call back again until somone tells you what you need to know.

When I rented poinst once before I called MS numerous times to confirm the ressie since I was feeling a little uncomfotable with the transaction.
I didn't ahev the member's number, onlt their name and the confirmation number.
I had no problems doing thsi.
