Hi- This will be our 1st flight using e-tickets thru Continental. Can anyone just give me a run-through on how these work.. Do I need just 1 copy of the confirmation # and seat assignments page? Should I call to confirm. The website says no - it's not necessary but I'm nervous. Any info to put my mind at ease would be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Last year was my first time using a "paperless" ticket. I was so nervous that I think I called 4 or 5 times to confirm.

Call Continental if it will ease your mind. I made my purchase over the phone, so I had no receipt at all. I booked my next trip online, so I at least had the confirmation page to print out.

Have a great time!

print out the conformation page with your seat assignment and proff that you paid and thats all you need.

I would definately print out a copy of the confirmation as proof. Last year we flew the day after the east coast blackout, from NY to Las Vegas on JetBlue. There was very little power in the terminal. No computers were working. It made the airlines job easier to look at the printed confirmation. You never know what could happen so it doesn't hurt to keep the print out with you.

They won't ask to see any paper work, but if it makes you feel better, you can print out your confirmation (if you booked it online) and take that with you.

If you booked over the phone, you can ask them to e-mail you a copy, which you can then print out.

If it makes you feel better to call and confirm prior to travel, then do so. Again it isn't required, but if it gives you peace of mind, go for it!

Thanks for your replys and reassurance. I feel SOOO much better!

Thanks
