Confirmed NYC Cruises

I wonder how much a 2- nighter from NY will cost for 2 people?

So far all we know is rates for the new two-night cruises start at $370 per person for a standard inside stateroom, based on double occupancy.

I've never done a cruise but this NY port has be considering it. Is the pp rate for adults and children, or just adults?

Thanks!!

Anyone have any idea on how much (approximately) it is going to cost for the 5 night Canadian cruises? I want to book for DH and me, and we are probably going to get just an inside stateroom. Ideas?

On that TA site that leaked the info early, it said the 5 nights would start at $700-something per person for an inside stateroom. That's all we need, so I thought that wasn't bad.

The rate is for the first two passengers regardless of age. Rates for additional passengers after the first two are based on age.

Awesome! That sounds great...can't wait to book. Wonder if it's going to be the 20% or something else? Hmm...2 more days to wait! I'm going to go nuts!

From dclnews.com (DCL's official news site):
The nine five-night cruises up the New England coast will call at Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Saint John, New Brunswick. In these popular Canadian ports, guests can soak in splendid natural vistas, explore historic sites, visit quaint cafes and charming shops, and browse Canada’s oldest farmer’s market.

Rates for the new five-night Canadian cruise itinerary departing from New York start at $715 per person for a standard inside stateroom, based on double occupancy.

OMG, I can hardly stand it! Disney must have read my MIND! I want to go on a cruise so badly in 2012 and I have been looking at all of the cruises, including other lines (gasp! I know!) because I really wanted to sail out of New York and not have to buy expensive plane tickets just to get to a port. This solves all of my problems! I can take a Disney cruise right out of NYC! Yippee!! let the booking begin! (if only I had a clue as to the prices!)

Gold and platinum only available to book tomorrow! My TA just emailed me that she booked a dummy cruise to make it faster to get me priority booking first thing. We're just doing the 2-night, but I know it will be very popular.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Impossible for your agent to book a dummy cruise.....She lied, its not possible to even see New York cruises.

anyone know if these cruises will have refundable or non-refundable deposits

Hmmm, how nice of you to know so much about my TA and make such unfounded accusations without knowing all your facts. :confused3

I never said she booked a dummy NYC cruise. She did INDEED booked us on a Dream cruise yesterday to get our info in the system, then used that link to book our NYC cruise today. We don't get any benefits from it (no 10% or OBC), but it was indeed a "dummy" cruise to get us in the system. Makes the new booking easier as it has our castaway number and our names and birthdates already set. I even saw the confirmation on my Disney reservation page yesterday. Maybe you learned something new today ;)
