Is anyone else getting hard copies of reservations all of a sudden? I have gotten one in the mail for every single change I have made...and I make a lot of them, when having to modify to adjust points used.

10 arrived today and 9 last week. Still getting emails but now hard copies too.

Do you mean that they're sending you confirmations in the physical mail? I've only ever gotten emails. We just modified a reservation a week ago and haven't gotten any mail.

Yes. I have never gotten them before last week. Always only emails. Not sure why the change. I checked my account and it is set up for electronic.

LOL. I had to make 6 changes this morning to rearrange some transferred points from May to March because they expire June 1st and the May trip is now changed until end of June,

Cant wait for next week for those to come now! I did send an email asking why. They are going to flag me because I sent the long one yesterday regarding points charts, base year, etc. and now this!
 
Sounds like a waste of our dues. I think changes should have a cost to the owner. Say... you get 3 changes after that you pay a fee for each change.

And to the original post, I have not had a hard copy of any reservation/change in years.
 
I only get hard copies when I request them. Years ago they came automatically without my requesting them.

I agree that sending out so many hard copies for changes in reservation is costly but I don't think we should be limited to only 3 changes before being charged for said change. I'm not in the habit of changing my reservations but sometimes things happen that could cause the need to change your plans. I don't see where making changes is a waste of dues if no hard copy is being issued. I think this could be some kind of glitch in the system which is causing the hard copies to be issued in the first place.
 
So, where you work, you don't get paid? Someone is being paid to print out and mail a change notice, and I don' think DVC get free postal service.. It add's up. Typically, at least $5 per page.

II am just confused as to why I started getting them because I never have.

As mentioned, most are from changes I had to make to get points rearranged because of trips being changed in the next few months so yeah, not agreeing with the fee for changes part, but no need to take the thread off topic.

Yes I am hoping it is some glitch. Like I said, 19 between last week and this week. Two were triggered when I simply went online to check which one of two reservations had the banked BLT points because I couldn’t find the screen shot,

So weird that no one else here that has read this has gotten them.
 
Got an email back and they said it was some glitch. It is supposed to be fixed and I should get no more of them.

I’ll be in WDW next week for 4 days so it will be fun to see what is waiting for me when I get home...hopefully, NO blue envelopes! Lol
 
Ha, I had to to go look in my old papers because I knew I had a bunch too. While I made many, many changes in the last year it seems the changes I made in November 2019 (between Nov. 5 & 19th) generated a bunch of mailed copies as well and they are on nice heavy paper.
Well, now I can shred those as those trips never happened anyway due to closures.
