If you were really faithful and reliant on God, I don't think it'd be that hard to make a choice, but people are different, and I don't know much about confirmation since i'm a Christian.

i'm a lutheran too and we have to do it 6-8th grade and then get confirmed the fall of your ninth grade year. i'm in eighth grade so i've gone through it all...we don't really do retreats like you guys are talking about, we just do like 'youth group' trips sometimes but i don't go on them much. they sound kind of fun though.

I made my confirmation last year. The retreat was ********, and long. Plus our church made us go to this thing called C.C.D. (Catholic Catecism(sp?) or something or another) and that was the most BORING, most HORRIBLE thing any of us had to go to, some of the kids are still made to go by their parents, we however think it's a joke. haha thank god. The ceremony was also boring, but it's better once you get it done and out of the way. Have fun at your retreat Brit!*major sarcasm* haha

has anyone made thier confiramtion? was it fun? i am supposed to make mine this year but dont know........i have a 6 freaking hour retreat tomorrow,( ) that i am soooooooo looking forward too!( ) i dont know i f i can even make it though because i have volleyball practice on the night of the ceremony and CAN'T miss practice because im on the national team and at that time, well have to prepare for nationals! so what do i do? if i miss practice, im benched!

OMG! Same here(the situating with soppsing to make my Confirmation this year bit have no service hours) I better do something about it soon!!
