Confirmation Wording

I just got my confirmation for our stay at POR. Under the heading Room View it says "variable" Does any one know what that means?

This is part of our split stay in May.

Maybe it means that you can be put in the AB or the Mansion.

I believe the room choices at POR are standard, water or preferred. Which did you book?

We booked a standard. So variable is just weird.

They will put "variable" if you requested a King bed.
