Confirmation trouble???

A question for those of you who received a confirmation in the mail for a room only, and it stated that your balance was due "before" you arrived (which is supposed to be due at check-in).
Has anyone called to make sure that your reservation did not get cancelled after the date listed on your confirmation?
I am SO worried about this- even though the CM's told me it was fine, and not to worry.

I had the same trouble.... booked room.. got confirmation sheet in the mail that said due at check in.. made a deposit 10 days later...got a new confirmation sheet in the mail that said.... balance due 30 days prior... I called and they said that was wrong and it is due at check in... i am worried too... we are going in JUne... I am hoping for a code and when i apply it going to double... double check and make sure a get a new conformation sheet with it correctly on it... amy

I have doubled check on my reservation after the date was past. Due date was 2/18. called yesterday and my reservation is still active. So I guess the cm knew what she was talking about when she told me to ignore it.

I called yesterday (the date that was on the conf sheet) and everything was fine. Tried to call this morning JUST to doublecheck and their systems were down. of course!

It seems like this is an ongoing problem. Same thing happened to us before our trip in January. I called CRO twice after we received the confirmation with the erroneous due date. Each time the CM assured us that the balance was due on check-in and each time the CM said they would send a confirming e-mail. We never got the e-mails and the flaw in the system seems to still exist.

You'd think they'd have it sorted out by now.

Same problem...finally got a confirmation today in the mail from a stay booked Jannuary 14th! Called twice to see about getting a confirmation slip sent...
My confirm says "Package Type". Well, I have a room-only reservation. Anyway, CM confirmed that the balance is not due until the date I check in. Based on what others who've had rooms when they arrived have said here, I'm not going to call again. I say that, but I probably WILL.
Can't wait to get to AKL again, though. Hoping for delightful weather like last Easter
