Confirmation Question

I plucked up the courage and sorted out the holiday online. (1st time)
I printed out the page with the reservation number on it and it said I would get an email with all the details on. My question is...how long roughly before the email comes? I was kind of expecting it instantly..lol.
I expect I am worrying cos it's the first time I have booked a holiday online and when I mumbled to DD13 about it she took the mick and said we would probably end up in Bognor for a week instead!!!

Well done on booking your trip. I hate to think how much money I wasted on my first few trips before I plucked up the courage to book for myself, instead of with Mr Thomas Cook.
It has taken up to 3 days for me to get my confirmation email. I like an instant reply too!

They say it usually takes them 24 hours to process. Happened to us and I panicked and called them. It was all fine

YAY!!!! The email arrived. I can't believe I did everything myself online. I'm 50 and had never touched a pc 2 years ago..lol. Thomas Cook's quote was £550 more than I got the holiday for online. The lad in there tried everything but he couldn't get the price down..even when he took off Thomas Cook's commission. Go Nanny!!!!! LOL!!

The total price we got online for two people for 4 nights in Santa Fe, booking the hotel through Disney and the train through Eurostar was equivalent to the price we would have paid for just one of us if we'd booked through a travel agent.

Its a bit fussy doing it that way, having to make sure you get absolutely everything sorted, but it saves you so much money!
