Confirmation question

I want to confirm my reservation a few days before I leave via a phone call or fax to the resort. I have read in previous threads that Disney does not confirm or change any details made by a TA. Should I have my TA confirm and check my requests for me? Or should I go ahead and fax or call them myself, since im not dealing with the CRO? Is it better to fax or call?

Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance for any advice.

You should have your agent request a fax from Disney showing the details of your reservation. Then you have a paper record of what they have for you.

You should be able to call CRO yourself to confirm (I wouldn't fax, it's quicker to get an answer over the phone). I booked a trip through AAA and was able to do so. I think as long as your calling within the two weeks prior to your arrival date, you should be fine. The problem usually occurs when people who have months to go call in...their TA hasn't handed over the reservation to CRO yet.

The TA owns the reservation until you are standing at the desk checking in. The reservation is with WDW not the TA. Nothing needs to be handed over.

Thank you for such a quick response.

Both suggestions were very helpful. I am going to e-mail my TA to see if she can get Disney to fax me my requests and i'm also going to try and call CRO. This way I can hear it and have it in writing.

excessive I know.
