Confirmation number question

Hi everyone!

We are fortunate enough to be celebrating our 25th anniversary at the BWV in August, My DFIL gave us his RCI points as a gift!

I have the RCI confirmation # and yesterday I called member services and gave them our names and check-in date and asked for a disney confirmation number so I can link dining reservations to our resort. The CM was very nice and gave me a 12 digit confirmation number. When I try to pull up my reservation confirmation on the "My Vacation" page of the disney site it comes back "we can not retrieve your reservation at this time , try again later".

Do you think the system is down or do you think the CM gave me the wrong confirmation number? I have never stayed on points befor and when I receive a confirmation number from Disney Travel it usually has at least one letter, my confirmation number, this time, is only numbers, is this because it's through DVC?

What should I do?

When I book dining, do I book through the regular dining site on the main Disney site or is there a seperate site for DVC?

Also, can I add a celebration to my reservation? I told the CM yesterday but on my reservation it only lists our names, resort, and lenght of stay. No mention of our celebration or room type.

For dining you use the regular Disney Dining Reservation options which are on-line at disneyworld.com or by calling the main dining line at 407-WDW-DINE.

There used to be a link on that page that allowed you to add special occasions, but that was removed recently.
