Need to confess something? Do it here!
I have something to confess but I don't want to unless I know there's at least one other person willing to confess something.

If you want to see confessions, some of which will make you feel downright normal, go to www.postsecret.com I love that site, DH and I check it every Sunday when the new ones are put up and the books are at the top of my wishlist for Christmas. As for my confessions, um......... if I said them out loud that would make them real ;)

Ok, I thought of one. But, it's really dumb.

For a long time, I was buying those dishwasher drop in gel tab things. So, I switched to another brand and after 2 loads, I was ready to return them...nothing was coming clean. I was super mad.

Until my kids pointed out that I forgot to take off the plastic wrapper before tossing them in. (the first type I used did not have a 'wrapper...ok, really dumb moment)

How is that? ;)

ok, I totally lied to my DH! He asked me how much money I have spent on Christmas gifts for our 2 kids so far, and I said "oh, ummm...about $500!" when it has been in fact closer to $1,500! He would have a heart attack if he knew, so I lied. I mean, I had to protect his health, right? ;) He'll find out Christmas Day for sure, there is no way everything I bought will add up to only $500. But he won't be able to say anything because some of the stuff comes from Santa so he has to keep his mouth shut :rotfl2:

Okay - I'll go ahead and spill. I obviously have something to get off my chest or I wouldn't have started this thread, right. The only thing I ask is that you not flame me (or anyone else) for this confession ...

Some of the men I work with flirt with me and sometimes I like it. I'm married.

There's nothing wrong with that. You should be flattered that they find you attractive. Now if you acted on those impulses....that'd be another story. ;)

I confess...
I want to start trying to have a baby next month. :rolleyes1 Dh would like to wait a little longer, but I don't want to wait! If there's one thing I've learned this year, it's that life is short and time is precious. So, we'll see.....

Heck some of the teenagers that go to school with my son flirt with me! I had DS young but not THAT YOUNG! It's definitely flattering!!!! I always tell them that although I love them all to pieces they are NOT worth 20 years!

I don't think that's bad at all. I think it's totally normal. For what it's worth my DH and I are honest that this sort of stuff happens, but it's when you actually act on it that it becomes an issue. I know that he doesn't do it to be rude to me, but if a pretty girl walks by he will notice, just as if a really great looking guy walks by I will. We're married, not dead. I have an old friend who flirts with me and I love it. It makes me remember a time when I was an attractive young person not Ryan's wife and Kayleigh, Luke & Lilly's Mom. It's nice to remember that I'm still Becky and not **just** all those other things, much as I like being all those other things. Make sense?

I confess I like to hear other people's confessions! Does that count?!?!? :rotfl:

DeterminedOne-- I don't think there's anything wrong with that as long as its only done in play. Everyone likes to be flattered every now & again.

Octoberbeauty-- Good luck with your decision! I wish you lots of happiness in your future! :grouphug:

I confess that I have a paper due in 6hours that I haven't even started yet. :rolleyes1

How did you know that I was feeling guilty ?

I wanted a ring for my birthday (today) and I went to the store and it's gone and I know my DH was just there. So I'm pretty sure he bought it.

Well, yesterday I just happened upon earrings that match.........and I bought them. I mean...how many times could that happen.....they were 2 different stores. They were buy one get one free !!!!!!!!! And I had a coupon !!!!!!

I just hope it was him that bought the ring or I'll have to take the earrings back ! :guilty:

Here's mine:
At my son's preschool, there are a few other moms who have younger children.
My son is the baby of our family, so when I drop him off I am ALONE!
Anyway when I hear the Preschoolers siblings-the babies cry or the toddlers run away and tantrum, I get a big fat grin on my face and an extra spring in my step as I walk to my car all by my lonesome.

Isn't that awful? I can't help it though--maybe it's because DS was ALWAYS the toddler running away when I dropped DD off at the preschool, it's just relief that I am done with those days?

Ok, will go next. Please don't flame me.

When I go to my car and someone has parked too close to me, I don't have a problem if my door opens a little too far and "rests" on the other car.

No, it's not awful.....I did the same thing.....maybe we're both awful !!!!!!!! :teeth:

I confess to using the vacuum cleaner as a toddler deterrent device. My DD 21 month twins are scared to death of it -they scream and huddle together when they see us touch it. Dh hasnt had time to put the cabinet locks on the kitchen cabinets and they have pulled everything out for the zillionth time today so I took the vacuum cleaner and laid it on it's side blocking the kitchen. They haven't gone near it and I haven't had to pick up all the pots and pans again and again and again and again and again. . .
