Ok, OK, I know I am a mod on this board.....but as i plan my upcoming trip it has become painfully obvious that it has been 2 years ( and 6 trips to WDW ) since my last DL trip.
So, I thought I would save myself some humiliation by posting any and all questions to this thread as they occur....so check back often
first 2 questions

1. is there free cofee and filters at the PP resort ?

2. On days that the park opens at 10 am, does the Plaza Inn do a breakfast seating prior to official opening ?

Can You get carrots substituted for the fries portion of a "meal" at the counter service places ?

1. Not sure at PP, but there was *by request* at the Disneyland Hotel

Not sure on your other two, but I think the answer to #2 is no

I believe that if DL opens at 10am Main Street opens at 9:30 as does Plaza Inn. I didn't eat there this last trip (just got back), but we were eating at Carnation Cafe right after 9:30 and I heard an announcement or something about Plaza Inn being open.

I believe you can request a Coffee maker and coffee upon check in to the PP.

When mainstreet opens 30 minutes earlier than the park, you can eat at the Plaza Inn for the buffet breakfast w/ pooh.

I don't know about counter service, but I do know at Avalon Cove carrot and celry sticks are the kids appitizer.

I requested carrots and celery for my kids instead of fries most of the time they did it but I remember there was one place that didn't, sorry don't remember where but I think they understand not everyone likes fries all the time. Plaza Inn has a wonderful delicious buffet breakfast until 11 and then they close until noon. No early breakfast before park opening.
