Confessions of a (former?) resort snob - SSR

We are enjoying SSR. Beautiful, beautiful resort. Had no trouble checking in. Our room was probably a 2 minute walk from the Carriage House. We are in the Grandstand area and right next to the pool. The walk to the bus stop is about the same distance just in the other direction.
Over the last 14 years we have stayed almost exclusively at BCV. Only recently we have ventured away from our home. The only other resorts we have experienced were VGF twice(because we wanted to) and BWV twice(because BCV wasn't available). Needless to say, I will not hesitate to stay here at SSR again!

Great thanks! I was thinking the Paddock area from my little "research" but there were so many mentions of the Carriage House (but that's maybe more for adults, no?)
The Carriage House is the building that includes the main lobby, front desk and the resort amenities (restaurants, etc.). There are no villas/rooms at the Carriage House. What you were probably reading was the advice to request a villa in an area that is located "near the Carriage House."

Ahh that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying. Does the Paddock area have a bus stop near it?

Yes, the Paddock bus stop is right by the Paddock pool. The bus stop right before it is the Carousel stop and that may or may not be a better stop depending on the location of your room. My daughter recently stayed in the Paddock section and the Carousel stop was right outside her building.
