Confectioners Sugar???

I am so not a cook...however, I am attempting a last minute recipe (peanut butter balls), and I need to know what confectioners sugar is. Is it regular sugar, powdered sugar...or something else?

If it seems to have very fine lumps, run it thru a sifter first...

Peanutbutter balls are so good. Make them small enough you can pop them in your mouth so they don't melt in your hand. Good luck!
