I got my Chef Mickeys conf. and it says "Please note that your party may be seated at more than one table." It was the second one I made there(canceled since I switched days) and now I am concerned. My first booking doesnt say that.

I think all my confirmations say this. I just thought it was a cover your butt move by the restaurant :confused3

It is common for the confirmation to say that, but assuming that you are not a party of 7 or more, the odds of getting split up are about one-half of one percent. Maybe lower. And if you are a party of four or fewer and they did try to split you up, you always have the option of "passing" and waiting longer for the next available table for your party size. The CMs are sensitive to the wants and needs of families who want to stay together.

We had a party of 3 (one a 6 year old), I had quite a few ADRs, and ALL of them said that. We were not separated.

ok, you all made me feel better. I checked and its the only one that says it. I cant imagine them separating a party of 4. Thanks

We were a party of 5, and many of our ressies said that - we were never separated.

We went in December as a party of 9 and the only place we were ever seated seperately was 50's Prime Time. Even when we were split they still kept us like 2 feet from each other! :cool1:

I have a party of 3 reservation for sci-fi that says we may be split. I doubt it will happen. I think that if you are asked to split your party, you could always wait for a table that will seat everyone. The CMs are flexible. We made reservations at Chef Mickey's for a party of 2 and then showed up as a party of 3 and there were no problems accommodating that. I think you will be fine. :)

I just made ADRs this morning and that came up on one of my confirmations.

I've never given it any thought - they won't split up parties, unless it was a really huge number of people. Even then, they do try to accommodate - last summer we went to Breakfast at O'hana's and one of the tour groups was there, and there was numerous tables pushed together in the middle of the room as there was about 30 kids and chaperones sitting there.

Even then we were seated and all was fine as we are a party of 4.

I think sometimes it's just the "computer" acting like a "computer".

If you have any concerns, just mention it when you check in at the podium.
