To park at Downtown Disney and take the bus to the parks to save parking!

I couldn't believe it. Now, I thought they had discontinued service from DTD to the parks anyway and mentioned that and the guy says, "Oh, no, I know for a FACT that they still do it."

Ok, first, is he correct? Second, we have APs and don't need it. Third, I think Disney would be happy to know why their DTD parking lot was getting so full all the time!

There are no buses to the park from DTD. They only go to the resorts.

If they DID go to the parks, would it be worth the money? I guess my time in the parks is worth much more than the $11 bucks a day I'd save. Then again - I don't pay parking either because we have AP's...

Parking is $12, not $11. Even if DTD had buses to the parks, you should not do this no matter what it saves you. It isn't allowed and it is simply wrong IMO. It is unethical for the condo owner to be recommending it to his guests.

totally tacky for them to tell you to do that, and a colossal waste of time as you have to go to a resort, and then get a bus to the park!

with annual passes you certainly don't need it.

Love our APs....they expire at the end of Jan and DH doesn't want to renew until Jan of 2011 Although I would love to move back to CA by then and just get our Disneyland APs back......sigh.

parking is $12, so they were wrong there... buses only go to the resorts, so they were wrong there.... well, guess that makes them wrong any way you look at it.... they were wrong to even suggest it... and just goes to show, they really didn't know much about what they were talking about.. wonder what other under handed deeds they do... hmmmmm

There would be too much time lost in doing what they suggested since the Downtown Disney buses go to the resorts and not the parks. Those tickets cost too much to be wasting time riding around on a bus.
