Now I know that this seems a bit odd but here goes.
What type of mustard do they have on the Magic? Is it the icky yellow stuff? Or real brown mustard like Gulden's? Please don't flame me I just can't stand that icky yellow stuff.
I know that they changed from Gulden's to the yellow stuff at WDW a while ago and it has left me bereft in the mustard arena. I did discover one and only one place at WDW where they have Gulden's in packets. (I am afraid to reveal my source for fear that it too will disappear.)

Corporations being what they are, they usually choose one exclusive vendor/product in one area and serve that company's brands only. Just try getting any Coca Cola product at a Marriott hotel, resort or subsidiary. (Yes Pepsi fans I know that the WDCo only serves Coke products but that doesn't bother me because I am a Cokaholic.)

Now back to condiments-Mustard-brown or yellow? Any other condiments? If I decide to get a hot dog at Pluto's I need my brown mustard!:worried:
Now that you have all had a laugh:rotfl: let's get some answers!:cheer2: :wave2:

:teeth: I'm willing to bet it is yellow mustard. I do not remember any BROWN mustard when we cruised last....I think I would have freaked if I saw brown mustard. I am a plain jane when it comes to food and Brown mustard would have been something I remembered!

Find some Brown mustard in packets and take it with you.....

NancyDVC--

From someone who's at WDW a lot, there are actually quite a few dining locations that have Gulden's. The fun is in finding them!

Nancy - I have to laugh only because I have the exact opposite problem as you! When I moved to NYC from California I thought I had encountered the Great Brown Mustard Conspiracy. All I wanted was yellow mustard when I went out to eat and no one served it. One time in a diner, a very nice waiter got me a yellow pack from his private stash! Maybe we should start some sort of trading program. You send me the yellow and I'll send you the brown! :hyper:

On our cruise, both were available...the yellow French's type and the Gulden's. DD was always asked which she wanted.

Do they have honey mustard onboard?? DS13 LOVES chicken with honey mustard.

YES YES

Perfect for pluto's chkn fingers

Yes, my DTS 9 (at the time) had chkn fingers every day (sometimes both lunch and dinner) except one night when he had steak

Thanks! DS13 will be happy to know they have honey mustard ::yes:: He even likes to dip french fries and bread into honey mustard.

Whew! Thank goodness :worship: Both brown mustard and honey mustard - I may have gone to heaven!

Threecircles - I used to find brown mustard everywhere at WDW but haven't in a while until I found it at Rosie's last year. I don't use it very often but a hot dog just isn't the same without it. Maybe it is more prevalent at sit down restaurants? When ever I have asked at the counter service ones I have been directed to the yellow stuff! :wave2:

DVCTiff-I am discovering that those of us in NY have some very different tastes from almost everywhere else in the country.
I can get all the brown mustard I want here in NY-Gulden's, honey, dijon, etc. It's just when I travel that I have a problem. I seem to use mayo more often but in the heat and with certain things I prefer mustard. In Texas and California they serve yellow mustard (brown is too spicy I've been told) btu then evcerything else seems to be tex-Mex and way too spicy for me!

professorandmom-Sorry I don't anything pickled (relishes included). I do use ketchup/catsup but only on certain things!

And speaking of condiments What is with the mustard (always yellow) on hamburgers at fast food places? I have to remember to ask them not to put it on mine when I travel. I know that in Pennsylvania they put mustard on anything that doesn't move but elsewhere it seems weird. Of course some of us in NY have our little peculiarities too. Ketchup/catsup is a regular on eggs (especially scrambled). And I won't tell you what else I use it on, sometimes with butter too!;) :smooth:
:rotfl: :rotfl:  :wave2:
