Concrete around pool?

Firstly, I live in Massachusetts and I have concrete surrounding my inground pool. The concrete is starting to look tired and has small cracks in a few places. Does anyone have any ideas on how to spruce it up? It is boring!! Can someone do stamped concrete over the existing concrete or does the existing have to be removed. Thanks in advance. Oh, of course I don't want this project to break the bank

You can patch the cracks and then paint the concrete with special paint (it has something in it that makes the surface a bit rough so it isn't slippery when wet- which you would need for a pool area). We did it on our patio and it came out really good.

we did a stamped concrete design over an existing concrete patio. they added on top of what we had, didn't remove. turned out really nice for the price.

Thats a great idea. We did that for a few paths in the back yard and it turned out really nice.

Thank you for the replies. Can someone who has done stamped concrete over existing give me an idea of cost? Also, who do I contact to do the job?

Check out the concrete Restore. We just used it on our deck and love it. It was costly though. There were a few pools on their Facebook page that people did.

It has trex feel to it. Soft under feet.
