I have never been there...is it any good? We need dinner plans for July 4 and 5...the 4th we want to be in MK and Epcot on the 5th. And, any thoughts on this with a party of 4 adults and 4 children (ds1 and ds3)? I thought they would enjoy taking the monorail to the contemporary.

Quite a gem of a restaurant and easy to get to from both MK and Epcot because it's on the monorail. We always try to go there for lunch. And now there is a viewing platform in the Contemporary for Wishes, I think it's on the same floor as the Concourse Steakhouse. I've never been on it but our server in the Contemporary Grill told us about it.

Now I am wondering if I should try to get a PS for the Concourse for July 4 to watch the fireworks from there? I was about to go to bed with the plan to call for Ohana on the 4th, but now I wonder...

just so you know you cant watch wishes from the concourse steak house.. there is a small viewing area with no music on the same floor but it is really just a small platform by the staircase outside the hotel. if you want to watch wishes while dining you can go to the california grill at the top of the cr.. much more expensive than concourse but worth it ! they turn down the lights and pipe the music into the restaurant

Is this restaraunt kid friendly? my husband is a big steak lover but I didn't book it in fear of the kids not being able to sit through the long meal. We have a 4 year old and 20 month old.

The Concourse Steakhouse is very kid friendly. We have brought our DS there since he was 2 years old. He loves watching the monorail pass by overhead.

I think it is the most [/B]underrated restaurant at all of WDW. The only downside is it is right next to Chef Mickey's and picks up all the noise.

We love Concourse Steakhouse. The food is great...I like going in the summer because they have a delicious Summer Peach Salad. I like the Prime Rib. Steaks are good. Service is excellent. Views are wonderful (monorail going through the resort). And, the best part is it's moderately priced as far as Disney restaurants go.

Try it - I think you'll like it. They have good breakfast as well.

The Concourse Steakhouse is nice. Last time we stayed there we ate there on our first night. We'll probably do the same this trip since we'll have our new daughter with us.

We love this place for dinner. Took my friends four year old son there. The waiter was great with him and we got a table so he could watch the monorails while we were eating.
The food is great. Havent had a bad prime rib there ever.
The Ceasar for lunch is good. We have added breakfast to our fave too as we cant not have the Sticky Mickey.

I've always had excellent steak at Concourse. The only downfall is that it's next to CM's and my DD freaks out when she sees the characters. I recommend asking to be seated away from CM's.

You could also get a game going with your 4 yr old about the monorails. What color is this one? How many people are on it? (obviously you won't know the exact number but it will be fun) Also one of the kids desserts is to paint a cookie with different colored glazes. DD11 is not sure if thats her favorite of the steak. Its a must for us.

Electric Light Potions

Radiant Red Fusion $4.50
Brilliant Blue Raspberry Goo $4.50

These are some drinks they offer kids. My DD11 hated them. I don't know if it was raspberry sprite or cherry sprite. But she didn't like either. We thought the blue raspberry goo was going to be a smoothie but its not. So be careful. Though they do come with a glowing ice cube. But I'd rather spend 4 more dollars and get a glowing green apple martini. hehe

What is in the peach salad? (Besides peaches of course) It sounds delicious!

Thanks everyone. You've convinced me, we'll give it a try this trip it sounds GREAT!
