So my v-day plans fell through and now I have this ressie at the Concourse Steakhouse. I've never eaten there so I was wondering if this is a place for kids? I was thinking of just taking DS with me and he can be my valentines date :teeth:

I think so. It is out in the open and very loud. There are kids right next to you in the lobby screaming and carrying on.

Oh that's fun LOL. Is it really that loud? I guess it could be since it's right next to CM's.

Kids are fine in Concourse, but if your going on v-day I would suggest and earlier ressie. We had a bad experience on our honeymoon at Concourse, because we were seated next to a 2 or so year old at 8:30 who was well past his prime. I wouldn't have minded nearly as much had we had an early dinner but with dinner that late he was pretty much the only child in the resturant and was not behaving in a resturant manner. I'm not saying all kids shouldn't be allowed just take your child's weaknesses into account, especally since even in Disney I'd be willing to bet there will be a lot of couples who spent the money to leave their kids with babysitters since it's v-day.

The ressie is for 5:30 so I'm sure he will be fine. I have ressies at the Neverland Club for him that night, but since my "date" plans changed, I'd rather not send him there and eat alone :teeth:

You should be fine taking your son with you. It certainly is better than eating alone. I saw many children there the night that we went. Hope you enjoy.

My kids love the Concourse Steakhouse and so do we. When we went, our kids were not the only ones there. I don't think it's that loud at all. Just a lot going on. Enjoy, it's a great time!! Be sure to get the cookie that your son can paint himself...great dessert!

Concourse has been one of our "must do's" for at least 5 or 6 years now- probably longer (our boys are 11 & 8). Great options on the kids menu (kid's salad, kid's shrimp cocktail) & the kid's steak would be plenty to feed me. Electric glow cubes in the drinks, paint the cookie, etc.
If you like soup the seafood bisque is WONDERFUL!

I would definately take him.

Thanks for the replies :) I wonder if I can get him to pay too :teeth: Afterall, he received $105 disney dollars for his bday hehe. (JK of course)

The paint a cookie thing sounds cute, I know he will love that!
