Now that I got free dining with my Disney Visa today I need to start making ADRs. :cool1:

Which one would be best for a dinner break during our MK day? We enjoy having a couple of drinks with our dinner :drinking1 and since MK is strictly no alcohol I thought it would be best to go to one of the monorail resorts for dinner. The two above restaurants look best for our dining preferences, but we're also open to other suggestions too (just something nearby). DS will be eating off the adult menu - he's been out of chicken tenders and mac n' cheese for about a year now.

I also heard that the Concourse is moving/closing sometime early fall, but our trip is Sept. 11-14 so as far as I can tell we should be safe.

I would definitely do Kona Cafe hands down over Concourse Steakhouse. We found Concourse to be seriously lacking in theme and flavor. The server we had was horrible and not helpful at all.

Also, you can NOT beat the Tambu Lounge at the Polynesian. The drinks are fabulous! The lounge is on the same floor as Kona and 'Ohana. There is a nice waiting area and great servers. I recommend the million dream martini, the backscratcher and the Lapu Lapu, although not all three in one night or you'll be    !

Enjoy! :)

Hands down Kona, it was sooooo yummy when we ate there in Dec 2006. We ate at the Concourse in Dec 2005 and I felt the food was mediocre and overpriced. :confused3

What they said!

Go with Kona Cafe. They have a great steak dish. YUMYUM and they also have a nice selection of other foods for you and anyone else in your party that might not want just steak and potatoes.

Thanks CrazedDisFan - this is perfect! I think we'll go a little early and hang out at the lounge. What's a Lapu Laup? :confused3

Macadamin Mahi Mahi at Kona is sooo good. Cannot wait to eat there in Sept. May favorite Disney Rest.
