We currently have reservations for dinner at Chef Mickey's, but we are thinking of changing to Concourse Steakhouse. Based purely on food quality, noise level, and service, which one do you reccomend?
Or should we go to Crystal Palace again? We have Crystal Palace for our first night and are thinking doing it for for our second to last night as well.

This is a difficult one to call.

Frankly the noise level at the Concourse Steakhouse is pretty high given that its right next to Chef Mickey's. But, Chef Mickey's is a character buffet similar to what you're going to have at Crystal Palace, so I'm not sure I'd suggest doing that.

In the end, I'd chose Concourse, and put up with the noise, just for the different experience.

If you're basing it purely on noise level, food quality and service, there is really not much difference between Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey, although we feel the food is a little better at CM and also the atmosphere more fun.

You can still hear the noise somewhat from CM at the Concourse Grill, but it's still much more relaxing and your food choices would be pretty much that of a very nice steakhouse. You'd have to decide which atmosphere the people in your party would prefer.

Ok, I admit that I'm prejudiced. Concourse was the worst steak experience we had on our May trip. The only good part was that they had A-1.

Our server was excellent, but a chick at the podium named Lisa was nasty. Really, I've never seen an attitude like hers from a CM. My DD politely asked for "a booth if possible, please," and Lisa went off. Then she kept us waiting while she seated probably 50 people and finally (13 minutes after our ADR) seated us at a table for 6. There were 2 of us! I sincerely belive that she was waiting for all the booths to fill as several people who arrived after us were in those booths (all seat about 4 people!)

Anyhow, we've had several good experiences at CM, so I'd do that. THe other buffet that I really like is 1900 Park Fare. I'd do that rather than CP again.

There are lots of other good places...I'm not sure just what you are looking for.

Well Park Fair has Princesses and we don't have any daughters, just a 11 year old son. Plus there are other reasons we don't want to go there.

Thanks for the comments, we'd like a couple more. :goodvibes
