Concorse Steakhouse Rehab??

I heard that the rehab will begin in May but anyone heard when it could possibly be finished? We are hoping to go in September..

As far as I know, the Councourse Steakhouse is not just undergoing a rehab but will be closing permanently and will be replaced by a new restaurant which will be located downstairs in the former site of the Fiesta Fun Center.

I will be sorry to see it go!

Actually, the new date for the closure of Concourse Steakhouse is now May 31.
I had read a post on Thursday night that someone was able to make an ADR for sometime in May, so we called up just a little bit ago for dinner there on Mother's Day!!! We are very excited because we ALWAYS eat there on our arrival day for dinner (which happens to be Mother's Day every year!!)
I guess we get one last hurrah!!
We will be kinda sad though, because it is one of our favs.

We will miss the Concoarse as well, we enjoyed the food and the atmosphere with the monorail passing through (we did'nt like the dinner at chef mickeys). I'm hoping the new restaurant will be good, although we won't see the monorail passing through. Linda

That is correct. Chef Mickey's Express will be the new counter service location, which will replace the Food & Fun Center.

I would think sometime around June, because on the 1st of that month the Concourse Steakhouse will be closing. So I don't see them opening the Wave before the Concourse Steakhouse is to close.
