concierge

I am planning on applying for spring 2011 and really want to try to get concierge. I'm not going to try to get my hopes up too much as I'm sure not many people get this job but a lot probably apply for it. Does anyone know what you need to do/know for have a better chance at getting that job? I have been to WDW numerous times and feel like I know a lot about it. Just wondering if there's anything else. Thanks!

Did you mean to say that you're planning on applying for Spring 2012 or Fall 2011? I ask this because Spring 2011 apply time is done. This is what their website says:

"We are no longer interviewing for positions on the 2011 Spring, Spring Advantage, and Spring Advantage Quarter programs.

This February, we will begin accepting online applications for our 2011 Fall, Fall Advantage and Fall Advantage Quarter programs."

Also, the concierge positions are generally reserved for Hospitality majors who have done the CP before or those are just the only kind of people who get that role.
