So, I booked my ADRs through Concierge Services for the first time, and it was a great experience. Great, even though it took a few days because of the holiday and the rep for my resort (CR) being off on vacation, too.

It was as easy as:
Plan out my ADRs....this was the hardest part ;-)
Send an email to the concierge email listed on the Disboards
Get a reply confirming that ADRs were booked...with the *exact* times I requested! :wizard:
Send a reply of thanks :thumbsup2

Sweet!
(I did have a couple of very quick phone conversations in there -- one to confirm the email was received, and one to leave my phone number -- but neither of those would normally be required if the staff for my resort wasn't on vacation. I also had an extra email in there, because there was a misunderstanding re: the Cindy meal I wanted, but even that was rectified within *minutes*.)

And, all of this was done by a CM who normally works at another resort (GF) and was just filling in. Great service! This is the kind of ADR service that my travel agent offered last time, but didn't deliver -- we had reams of emails back and forth, lots of hassles, and of course she didn't have access to our exact times, etc.

Seriously, this is one instance where Disney offering a 40% discount may come back in spades for them -- between the ADR help and the other issues they're handling (birthday cards/balloons, priority check in, etc), I may be hooked on concierge level for future bookings.

We are staying concierge for our first trip on-site.:cool1: We are booked at the AKL for 9-16 to 22. The conciege there has been phenomonal! (Thanks Don! ) We had made all our ADR's, including CRT, when Don informed us that Cirque was closed the week we originally were scheduled to go. :scared1: My DH and I discussed it for about 10 minutes, and e-mailed Don back. He switched everything, including all our ADR's to the week before so we were able to keep our Cirque tickets! :dance3: We have also since changed a few ADR's, based on some of his personal recommendations. He has been wonderful, and has answered honestly (I hope) when asked for his opinions. I figure, he's there, I'm not, he's got to know something! :rotfl2: We are also preparing our own gift bags for our nieces, and sending them to the resort prior to the trip. Don has assured me that the bags will be delivered to the girls DURING CHECK-IN, not put in the room afterwards! Yea, as we are sending things they will need for their day in the park (new camera and film, Epcot Passports, lanyards, Autograph book and pens, a watch and some munchies). They will also be getting a small toy delivered to them each day we are there, again courtesy of the concierge staff! (All right, I have to pay for them, but they will be keeping them and putting them in the room each day) And, we had Pat from the DISigns board make us some awesome invitations to the various character meals (CRT, Donald's Breakfast, 'Ohana, PSB, Crystal Palace) and those will be delivered each day and left on their pillows. Overall, I have to say that the benefits offered by the concierge staff is worth every penny! I can't wait to get there, and see the girl's faces when they get their goodies!:cheer2: The pixie dust will be flying everywhere for this trip!pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Even though my family and I did not contact the Contemporary IPO Cast Members to make our ADR's before we arrive next month, since we did not make any. We have never had any problems making them while in WDW with the help of the Cast Members who work on the Atrium Club Level floor of the Contemporary. If we ever do make ADR's it's usually during lunch time and we always choose an early time to eat at, which is why we have had no problems getting them at the last minute. In the past they have been able to get us lunch ADR's after 11:00 AM at Prime Time Cafe and the Plaza.
