So, I booked my ADRs through Concierge Services for the first time, and it was a great experience. Great, even though it took a few days because of the holiday and the rep for my resort (CR) being off on vacation, too.
It was as easy as:
Plan out my ADRs....this was the hardest part ;-)
Send an email to the concierge email listed on the Disboards
Get a reply confirming that ADRs were booked...with the *exact* times I requested!
Send a reply of thanks
Sweet!
(I did have a couple of very quick phone conversations in there -- one to confirm the email was received, and one to leave my phone number -- but neither of those would normally be required if the staff for my resort wasn't on vacation. I also had an extra email in there, because there was a misunderstanding re: the Cindy meal I wanted, but even that was rectified within *minutes*.)
And, all of this was done by a CM who normally works at another resort (GF) and was just filling in. Great service! This is the kind of ADR service that my travel agent offered last time, but didn't deliver -- we had reams of emails back and forth, lots of hassles, and of course she didn't have access to our exact times, etc.
Seriously, this is one instance where Disney offering a 40% discount may come back in spades for them -- between the ADR help and the other issues they're handling (birthday cards/balloons, priority check in, etc), I may be hooked on concierge level for future bookings.
