Concierge waitlist

Quick question. We are waitlisted for a Concierge Cat V for our upcoming Sept cruise. The PIF mark for Concierge is in a little over 2 weeks. Has anyone ever had any luck getting a suite on the waitlist?

Yes, I was called when I was on the wait list. They give you 24 hours to decide if you would like to take the room.

I wait listed CL on a January Wonder Cruise with no luck. I'm still annoyed I didn't jump on it when I had the chance. I think your chances are slightly better with the larger ships. More CL rooms.

I was waiting for a concierge room to open up (checking several times per day for weeks) and one finally opened up today for an August cruise. I would just keep trying and you will probably get lucky. I wouldn't rely on being waitlisted - from my experience before when I was waitlisted, I saw it available on the website before they contacted me to say it was available.

It's not a large ship issue, BTW. My success was on the Wonder, and my miss was on the Fantasy. Good luck and enjoy. Once you go Concierge it's tough to go back!

We usually sail only in Concierge but when we booked this cruise no cat V rooms were available and for a 3 night I will not pay $4992 for a 1 Bedroom, we booked this cruise late. At least we were able to book the Cabana on SB we like today at or 105 day mark. This will be our 10th DCL cruise so Platinum from this point on.
