This will be my first time doing concierge at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. I know about the Kilamajaro Lounge and a few other perks like they will make your ressies for everything you want. I would love to know what you've asked concierge for besides the above. Any info would be appreciated.

Also, I'm curious why do you go concierge?

We stayed at WL concierge. The reason we did it was because we could. We asked for the upgrade when we checked in, and the rate was much, much cheaper than booking concierge. We loved the amenities. We ate breakfast there every morning- there was a great selection of cereals, bagels and a toaster, fresh fruit, muffins, etc. There were snacks out all day which was good for (then) 3 y/o DS and me because I was pregnant. At dinner time, they had 2 selections from Artist Point restaurant along with cheeses and crackers, more fruit, PBJ's for kids. At night there were desserts and cordials, which sadly, I could not enjoy. It was a great way to cap off a wonderful Disney day. We did not take advantage of the service for making PS's because we already had them, but the staff was very helpful with other questions we had. There were toys for the kids there, and the one staff member in particular always looked for DS and played with him. We loved the experience, and if we didn't stay at BWV on this last trip, we would have tried concierge at another resort.

Bete, have a wonderful vacation. The AKL is my favorite resort. I don't think we've ever asked the AKL's concierge for anything except for a PS reservation or two. During one of our stays, my Dad had recently celebrated his birthday so I asked the concierge if I could get an autographed birthday card from Minnie Mouse for him. They were happy to oblige (my Dad got a kick out of it).

We like to stay concierge to have the lounge to relax in, the concierge staff to take care of details as far as PS's and changing them as needed as well.

We've used the concierge staff to order flowers and gift baskets for the room. DH also used them to book the Grand 1 Yacht and stock it with goodies for a fireworks cruise last March.

We tend to spend as much time at our resort as we do in the parks, so it really works well for us.

Anne
