Concierge service

Boarding usually happens soon after the ship clears customs. We have had it as early as 11:10 and as late as 11:45 but B2B guests will go first and then concierge. They will escort you to the elevators that will take you up to deck 12 just outside the lounge. The hosts will be there waiting with all of the iteneraries ready to review and is usually based on first come first serve.

The pool area getting crowded varies by cruise in our experience but it will get crowded..........especially if the weather is nice. If we want to start on the aqua duct when it opens, we wear our suits to the port or have them in a back pack to change into.

The wait in the concierge lounge also varies by how early you are getting in there and how many groups go in about the same time (Keep in mind not all concierge guests will be at the port boarding at 11:15 so the number of groups going up initially can vary as well). There is no harm in getting a seat, a snack, glass of champagne and waiting a while to review your itinerary with one of the hosts..........if they don't get to you for some reason prior to the slide opening, you can always come back later in the afternoon and review it then. We have been one of the first to get to review our plans and have waited 30-40 min before. There is also a kids klub CM in the lounge and can handle club sign ups and band hand out as well as a spa CM that can go over treatments and spa appointments.

Enchanted garden does have a buffet also but you get to sit down and they will provide the drinks/refills for you. We find it a little less crowded and hectic but sometimes doesn't have the full selection of Cabanas.

Enjoy your cruise.

Oh no...............I will just start going back to Cabanas I guess.

we were just on the dream last week..
we went to the enchanted garden when we boarded the ship..
it was really nice having a leisurely sit down meal...
the CMs were great, the food good...and it was so much quieter than what goes on in cabanas...
plus we had all our carry ons with us....it was easier to have them near us in enchanted garden..
we were in there almost until the rooms opened...
really nice...

If you go Concierge again, know that you can leave your carry on luggage in the Concierge Lounge.

i know you can leave them in concierge (we have in the past)
but we weren't concierge this time..
first time we didn't go concierge..
so we had to shlep the stuff with us to lunch...
but no big deal....it worked out well..

Another Concierge question. I know on the website it says there are a library of CD's, DVD's and Video Games for concierge travellers. Is there a gaming system in the suite? What type of video games?
