Concierge Service Question...

Hello-

My dh and I have reservations at the Contemporary for a MK view room in July. We received a letter regarding their concierge service that could plan an itinerary and make any ps reservations, etc. for us.

We don't need an itinerary planned because we already know how we want to spend our days (thanks to this great board ) However, we were thinking about using them to make our resturant reservations.

My question is, has anyone ever used them? Did you find them useful? Did they cost extra? Any info is greatly appreciated.

Never used the Contemp concierge, but have used other concierges many times. I find the service to be very helpful. Like you, I plan everything out on my own. Once planned, I then send the concierge a list. They then make all the PS's and the like. If something is not available, they will let me know and we figure something else out. Also, since our plans often change after initially being made, I contact them to make the changes. I think it is great to have this available. There is no extra charge for this service.

We are going to use them. It is nice that there is no extra charge We now just need to figure out which resturants we want to go to.

If I have the time, I make my own PS. That's what I did for my May trip. We are staying at the Poly concierge. However, as we get closer to the trip, I will definitely use the concierge to make any changes or new PS. I think they have a better chance of getting the tough to get seatings than if I call on my own.

Use them! That's what is included in your concierge experience!

And they CAN get those HARD-to-get PS's and last minute changes!
