concierge robes?

Has anyone ever asked for extra concierge robes and gotten them? My DD always wants to wear one , and since DH and I do as well I was wondering about asking for an extra (actually 2 b/c DN will be with us also)
Would I ask Mousekeeping or concierge desk?

Sure! We always ask for one for DS. Generally I just call housekeeping, they are usually delivered within minutes.

That's interesting Ducklite, because we had two in our room last summer. They were a little too big for my 4 yo, but she still LOVED it!!

As for the kiddie ones neither DD nor DN could possible wear kiddie ones, they are both within a couple of inches of my height (5'4") at 11 yrs old!
Do you know if they laudry them between guest? I would hate to think that we are wearing the same robes as people before us. eww

I actually bought one. I loved them so much. I went to the concierge desk at AKL and they tried to get me a brand new one but there were none left in stock.

Then housekeeping called and said I could have one fresh from the cleaners. They brought it to me all wrapped and folded.

I love my robe.

Hey there,

The brand new one was $89. The one I bought was $50. Worth it to me. And it looked brand new to me. Pressed and packaged as though it was new.

Just an FYI--they use the same robes in all the deluxe resorts and on the cruise line. The gift shop at the GF (first floor near the rear entrance to 1900PF) always has them in stock.

Hey Anne,

Concierge tried that too. The only robes in stock in any of the shops was a different robe that was satin on the outside and sold for $125.

That's why I opted for a "refurbished model" LOL

Did you just get the robe? I love them, but the one in the gift shop was not like the one in the room and way too long for me. I'll nave to ask when we go in June. Love the Clay photos--I was crushed he didn't win. Who did you ask in concierge?

Yes I just got back last week. I didn't like the robes in the gift shops because they were very long and had a satin front. I really wanted the spa like robes you get in concierge.

Jill at AKL concierge tracked a robe down for me.


I was crushed too!!, But, I truly believe he is better off.
