Concierge Question

Hi all I was just wondering about something we were told that when you book a concierge room at Animal Kingdom Villas yo get mouse keeping everyday but when I called member services I was told this was not the case. Can anyone tell me which is the correct answer...thank you very much!

According to the information on the members' website, Concierge guests do get daily housekeeping:

Jambo House Concierge Accommodations
Studio, One-Bedroom, and Two-Bedroom Lockoff

Kilimanjaro Club Concierge accommodations include the following Kilimanjaro Club Level Services:

Advanced Walt Disney World itinerary planning service
Personalized front desk and Concierge service
Daily housekeeping service and evening turndown with chocolates
Secured key access to 6th floor and Club Level lounge
Weekday newspaper delivery of USA Today
Assistance with special events planning and shopping
Club Level Lounge refreshments

Here's where I found it. After you log in, click on Member Getaways and then Disney Vacation Resorts. When that page loads, click on the link for AKV. In the menu over on the left, click on Accommodations. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of that page and you will see the information I just posted above.

It's interesting that the Concierge information does not appear on the public version of this web page.

I know I seen that my husband is going to be so happy when he sees that I have one more question and it is off topic but I am hoping you can help me..we are going for 13 nights but we could not get concierge the first 3 nights so we took a Savanna View room for the first 3. The nice lady said we could be put on a wait list to get concierge for the first 3 nights as well . Have you had any experiance of being on a waitlist in the past. Is it worth trying or is it a slim chance of your request coming through?

It's always worth trying, but the chances of getting concierge are extremely slim/remote. There are only 5 br lockoffs on concierge, so it's only "up to" 5 of each room type.

Yes I suppose since there are so few rooms available that there is a much less chance or getting what you want...thank you!

Me and my family just stayed in a DVC Club Level room this past weekend and it was a wonderful experience. I hope that you all will get the oppurtunity to stay there at some point. The food service is wonderful and getting your room cleaned everyday is a nice perk. The turndown service and candy at night didn't hurt either.

Sounds like you had a great time .....we were not able to get concierge our entire vacation so for 3 days we will be in a studuio savanna view and 10 in a concierge studio...I simply cannot wait I am so excited!!!

I'm glad to hear you had a great experience. Do you remeber what types of food offerings were served in the evenings?
