concierge lounges - how crowded are they?

how crowded are the various concierge lounges?
i know that the lounges vary in size....
do they also vary in terms of traffic?

e.g., the poly lounge is enourmous, but is it also crowded? at certain times of the day?...

the BC lounge is small...does that mean you have to take stuff back to your room to eat (i really HATE eating in the room....i prefer keeping whatever mess there might be in the lounge)...

I think it depends on the time of the year and the time of the day. A few times in Poly concierge, we were the only people in the lounge. Other times it was crowded. This was during September, which is technically "off season". It still is nice to have somewhere else to sit besides your room. My DD was kept busy by the gummy worms and M&M's!

in other words when WDW is VERY crowded....
i know that the YC concierge is already fully booked for that time....

The lounge at AKL was always packed in the evenings when we were there. The lounge was fairly small and there were never empty tables or seats. I hated having to always haul our food/drinks back to the room every time.

We never had a problem at the Polynesian lounge.

We were in the Polynesian lounge late last summer. There were a few times in the morning when it was packed - all tables full. But a few minutes wait and one would become available. Most people weren't there to linger over bagels and coffee Off to the parks seemed the theme of the lounge. And there was always the upstairs part of the lounge which seemed to be mostly forgotten. It was always empty.

The evenings that we were there had copious amounts of food, with the chef acting like an indulgent grandmother and encouraging a full and overloaded plate - and relatively few people. Tables were always available.

The only tables we ever had a problem getting were the ones right by the windows overlooking the lagoon.

The staff was always hovering around, clearing plates as you finished and wiping tables as soon as somebody got up. This really helped make the turn-around for tables go very quickly!

The parks were very crowded at this time of year and we never had a problem finding a table after less than 5 minutes wait.

we never have a problem getting a table. we have stayed at Poly concierge twice and YC concierge twice. the people come and go and it is never an enormous amount of people. truthfully I have seen the Poly lounge more crowded than the YC lounge, also more kids, once or twice we couldnt get a seat at the Poly, but I dont think you should be too concerned.
we were at YC concierge last July, the lounge was not crowded!

at Poly concierge last August. Very crowded. Breakfast seemed a tad bit better than dinner. Never could get a table for dinner and forget getting by the window. I think they need to make the concierge bigger somehow. Afternoon is dead however.

I would still go there again though. It was great just leaving your room& having a short walk to get a cup of coffe or glass of juice. Also, the view from the poly concierge is just fabulous. Well worth it.

Mornings at the GF RPC concierge are sorta busy - lots of people lounging with their food - but if you look around, you can usually find somewhere to sit and eat - they have a lot of tables.

We stayed in concierge at the YC last July, and didn't really notice any great crowds. Most people eat and leave, and don't hang around talking. Because both the YC and BC have trays for carrying food, we use to bring our breakfast items down to the tables by SAB and eat there! It was a nice atmosphere, and we managed not to spill or loose anything on the way!
