Is it worth the extra cost?

What area of the hotel are you in?

When wine/cheese is offered? What KIND of continental is offered?

What perks are your favorite?

I had a concierge room at GCH two years ago. We were on the 6th floor with a room that had a partial view of Paradise Pier (we paid extra for view but I have had better views in a non-concierge room). The wine and cheese was offered every evening from 5-7pm and along with wine and cheese there were crackers, veggies, bread, a hot entree and beer. The continental breakfast selections included muffins, bagels, fruit, cereal, toast, pastries. Soda, water and other beverges were offered all day long. During lunch time they offered small sandwiches, fruit, chips. After the wine and cheese they offered dessert with cookies and tasty treats. The concierge room was very crowded and the selections in the evening ran out fast. It was nice to have the room available but I don't think it is worth the extra cost.

We usually stay in concierge when we visit Disneyland. We always get the 6th floor with a great view of California Adventure!

Breakfast:
cereal,
bagels
sliced fruit
milk, OJ, cranberry
coffee, tea
croissants, muffins, pastries

11-4:00PM
teas sandwiches
turkey,cheese
Salmon, cream cheese
one more I can't remember
sliced fruit
cookies
hot scones
chocolate strawberries

5:00-7:00PM
Boudin French bread
assorted cheeses
sliced fruit
grapes
olive dip
veggies with dip
one hot item
wine and beer

8:00-10:00PM
cookies
desserts, small cheesecakes, etc.
cordials or wine and beer
milk

small bottles of Dasani water, soda served all day ( get it yourself) coffee,
tea, crustables served all day

When you check in at the parking booth, they usually signal the concierge desk that you are arriving and someone greets you at your car. They escort you up to the 6th floor, where you check in, no need to wait in the long line at the registration desk. You are shown the Craftsman's lounge, then they escort you to your room to make sure it is suitable.

If it's worth it...that is entirely up to you! I just got a quote for concierge for June $645.00 per night.

To me I love the premium view the best (which you can get without concierge.) I can go without concierge, but not the view!

We were just there in April and did not stay in concierge, but had the great view! We were not treated any different, and enjoyed our stay!

The best thing about concierge is of course the Craftsman's lounge and having access to it! At 9:30PM, they dim the lights, and they have a special patio with piped in music for the fireworks! The best place to watch fireworks is in front of the castle, but if you are sick or tired the craftsman's lounge is the next best thing!

But to be honest, any room at the Grand is great, I mean after all you are staying at the Grand!

That was an excellent run down of what you get for GC concierge.

Anyone able to do that for the Paradise Pier? Please?

We will be there soon and have never stayed concierge before. Since we will have "hotel" days and park days we requested a cabana room. I hope we get it. thanks:)

We want to hit DL on 06/16 for magic morning hours....what time does concierge place the breakfast items out?
