Hello, my wife and I have been to DLP a few times before but we were thinking of going during 2009 and wondered if anyone had stayed at the concierge level at the Hotel new york?

Do you think it's worth it, what do you get for it, do you have any pics you could share???

Many thanks in advance

Hey. :) Welcoem to the DIS!

The Empire State Club at Hotel New York, has newly renovated rooms, and also a lounge which serves hot drinks and snacks throughout the day.

You get a private check in so you don't have to wait as long, and also VIP fastpasses!

Would be my choice for a trip during busy times, as the VIP FP would be great, but the DLH castle club is a bit too much ££ in my opinion.

We stayed at the Empire State Club for 8 nights a few weeks ago. I would definately stay there again, we were very happy with it. Loved the vip fastpasses and loved popping in for a hot chocolate or coffee and a relax and a read of the paper. We had breakfast there each morning and there are two characters that visit each day (one at a time) and there is a good selection of hot and cold food for breakfast and the staff who are working in there are just lovely. There was also afternoon tea served daily and the lounge was open until 10pm. I didn't eat the food in the afternoon tea due to an allergy but it certainly looked delicious and I would be sitting there drooling looking at it and would loved to have been able to have a nibble.

Check in was great, very speedy, our room wasn't ready but they called on my mobile to let us know when they were ready and our luggage was there in our room when we got there. There is a kettle and coffee machine in the room (which I don't think is in the regular rooms), but I am not sure if the coffee and tea's provided are included or if they are extra. There is really no need for them with the lounge up the hall, it's just as easy to pop in there for a coffee and it's free. There is also nightly turndown service (warning, don't go in there right after they have been in, they had SEVERE BO, which stank out the room and lingered for sometime, made my DS and I dry reach on several occasions) but they put a chocolate on the bed. There are also robes and slippers in the rooms, not sure if these are in the regular rooms either as this was our first visit to Disneyland Paris.

Don't know if the rooms are actually renovated, they look the same as the photos I've seen of the regular rooms and the bathrooms are in need of a makeover. But for the access to the lounge, the vip fastpasses. There is also a business centre, with two computers and printers and internet access, this is free for empire state club floor guests and is located on the 7th floor.

For us it was worth it, we were very happy with it and would definately stay there again.

No photo's yet sorry.

excellent, many thanks for your help. It's very tempting I have to say. May need to have a wee think about it!

Thanks again.
