Concierge Help Needed

Going the first week of Dec. and staying at the RPC at the Grand. DH and I have never stayed Concierge before and really looking forward to this trip. I made all my ADR's myself at my 90 mark since I didn't get anything in the mail prior to that. I will admit, I didn't want to leave it up to someone else. LOL Will I be hearing from them at all? What can I expect since I have no experience with conciergel. TIA

Well, I have never stayed concierge at the GF, so I am not sure how there IPO works. However, I am sure that they would operate just like the othe Disney IPO's. We are going the first week of Dec. and staying at the BC concierge and we recieved a package awhile ago, although I believe I contacted them by email first. You may just want to drop them an email and let them know about your upcoming stay. You can also put in any room requests. Since you have already made all your ADR's, there are other things that IPO can help you with if you so choose. Our IPO is arranging for a limo to pick us up at the airport, buying things for the room before we arrive, and so on. You can also book the AK exursion. This in only open to concierge level guests and your IPO at the GF can book that for you. They will have all of the info as well.

Other ideas: have them purchase MVMCP tickets if you want to go, they can book WL sleigh rides, spa appts., etc. Pretty much anything you want.

The staff is wonderful at the GF. They do much more than making PS for you. I love surpirsing my DH with gifts in the room. So you can call them and tell them what you want and give them your cc# and it will be taken care of without making all the phone calls yourself. I called for our upcoming trip and arranged for flowers, champagne, chocolate strawberries, choc cigars, golden ears, and an anniversary cake that will be delivered to the CG as a surprise. It was so easy, one phone call and it's taken care of

Also I love how they greet you outside and take you up to the 4th floor. Just make sure you tell the security guard at the booth, he will call up to the desk so someone will be there...just so nice.

Conc level is so much more than the buffet....they go out of your way to make your stay something very special. Enjoy your trip
